Pssst!

Hey! I know that Chris is in camp and I just wanted to sneak in and tell everyone "hello!". Hey, she hasn't deleted me off her "team" back from when I guested here, so, why not take the opportunity? *g*

I just spent a solid 30 minutes or so looking through all the photos of Chris' wedding - WOW!!!! The photos were wonderful - the wedding looked lovely, and the bride looked absolutely beautiful. I think I'd be spending a fortune on pictures if I were Chris and Keith *g* I can't wait til Chris gets back to "civilization" so I can tell her which ones I liked the best. AND, of course, start bugging her for photos for her web site so that her wedding pages can get filled in a bit more!

(((hugs))) Chris - and thanks for sharing!

I am hoping to get this posted. I will be leaving tonight for a four day trip to visit a friend at her camp. I don't know if there will be guest bloggers or not, but if not look for a message from me late Sunday night. and stories to tell, I am sure. (I never travel without at least one!!!) I meant to blog more today but time got away from me. I guess sometimes I do need more hours in a day. Or at least more time to be organized. Life is good. Just taking summer one day at a time.

10 things I would do if I won a lottery of 100,000 dollars from Deb

1. pay off credit cards
2. buy a jeep grand cherokee for my sweet husband
3. get a new furnace/air conditioner
4. get a new computer with all that I want
5. donate a few thousand to the schools for scholarship money
6. set aside a bit for a vacation next year
7. get new carpeting on the steps (to match the living room) and on the porches
8-10 if there is any left probably save for purchases later!!

thanks for that idea, patti

When you think you have time, you find something else to do. The motto of my days these past few weeks. I am behind in emails, blog-reading, and work. Oh well, tomorrow I fly off to visit with Shana at camp. I am sure I will have plenty to say when I get home.

"You have to sing like you don't need the money
Love like you'll never get hurt
and dance like nobody's watching...."
The words to this song hit me yesterday as I drove about 2 hours for a picnic. Kathy Mattea recorded it over 10 years ago, and when the country station here plays it, I ALWAYS think...."damn, I like that song" It speaks to me.....especially given my belief that everyone needs to just take the time to be who they want to be.

OK, next topic.....I see a puppy has made its way into Deb's home....and almost housebroken....great news as well!! And Congrats on the new job!!! I know you will do wonderful.....and I will send you the address tomorrow (I hope, but if I forget...on Sunday)

Its getting late, and I need to finish my suitcase if we are to have a bed to sleep in. I will be blogging tomorrow on the activities of the past few days. Good night and God bless!!

A quick blog. Not too much happening here. We got our wedding previews, and I have the website. I don't think I will post it here, but if you want to see pics, email me. We went to a fair on Friday, and out to dinner. Terrible service---we only left $1.00 tip and that is rare for us to do that. My mom and Bill are in town for a wedding and picnic. I saw them yesterday and today am driving to Johnstown for Bill's family picnic.
I went shopping last night and got a GREAT DEAL on our towels from our registry, a few birthday gifts and more of our crystal which is not discontinued but is not being carried by Kaufmanns. So its on clearance, and I am trying to buy it at that price instead of the one I would get in CT or MD where I know they still have it.
I hope to blog more later about wedding and plans, so check back.
