I am finished with 150 invitations (except for the few I cannot seem to find the address for.....who knows where that scrap of paper could be in this mess of an apartment.) I did not go to the baby shower for my cousin's wife so I could finish other things that must be done, but I do have to make an appearance at a lingerie/bachlorette party for Jacquie. Don't know that I will be buying anything, but that will be my secret for now.....*L*

Not too much else is new here. Keith and I hit the grocery store, and I need to finish moving some food to the house. Other than that, a quiet Saturday. Can't wait to have the computer at the house instead of having to hop over to check out what is new here.

I have been on a search for some missing essays and such of mine. I hope a few of them are at work because I can't seem to find the box they would be in here. I guess I need to move, unpack and then look again.

Happy Easter to all.....
and a personal note to the "camp-director"...i will be emailing you about location and travel dates. i want to make it out for a visit.

Just a few notes to people who may be wondering where I am. I am addressing wedding invitations. My sweetheart of a fiance stuffed the envelopes and now I just need to get busy. But I see my father has moved a load of 'stuff' so who knows what I will find at the house.

To Shana.....I was not there, but need to comment. If you want to see hills, I can show you some hills. My friends from Ohio and NC both grabbed the dashboard when I took them to my grandmothers for the first time.

To all of you......DAMN IT.....I WILL be there next time....whenever and wherever....provided its not the week of June 9th to 17th!!! ( I do have a previous engagement....)

And to Misty.....I really am trying but life is wrapping itself around my legs. Since I see from your blog you are busy too, I know you will understand....

And to all, have a blessed and peaceful Easter. I will be around when I can.

Did you notice that my blog entries look like shit in early April? I have one word lines and gaps everywhere. Was it me or blogger?

Anyway, I still want to tell people to dive headfirst off buildings, but I will try to control my bitchiness. Hope YOU are having a good day. And I mean all of YOU.

Have you ever just wanted to tell someone to take a flying leap off of a tall building? But then wondered if it wasn't just you being a bitch? Sometimes its not worth caring.

Do you remember my talking about a recipe blog? It is love-productions.com/thekitchen/ and organized by Kristine of Hopeless Romantics blog (one of my reads below). Anyway, I just got an email from her and I am hoping to be able to join the kitchen crew in blogging recipes!!! Check it out!!! I love to try new things (when I can find the ingredients in my home!!)

What a beautiful weekend it was here in PA. The weather was over 80 both Saturday and Sunday which was fine except I felt like I was melting carrying all the gifts into the house. But back to the beginning. My grandmother was very surprised on Saturday, and we had a great party. However, I had to leave right at 9 because the killer cramps were making a come-back and I wanted to "drug up" and then lay down so I would feel better for the shower.

For some reason, I was up early, so I went to church at 8 am which has not happened in eons. Spent the rest of the morning just straightening up around the house, and then left for the shower at 12:30. It was beautiful and very elegant. My friends had ballons and hydrangeas decorating the room, and since it was a sit-down lunch the tables looked great. Almost all of my relatives made it, and my Mom's friends. I probably was most excited to see Laurie (used to work with her right out of college) and Kathleen (friends since high school). Kathleen is pregnant, and due in August and I had no idea. She decided to wait and tell me at the shower. She and I may not see each other for months, and when we pick up the phone to talk, its like we just left each other.

I had a very nice party, and the gifts were wonderful. We got 6 place settings of china already, and lots of cool things like a breadmachine, apple dishes and canisters, sheets, and a few crystal things. (OK, there were alot more things, but I don't want to bore you with the list.)

My Mom did not leave until last night so she and I took my grandmother shopping for a dress for the wedding and we found one. I also got 2 dresses to decide which one I want to keep. There is a big sale at the store this week though, so I will go back with my receipt and see what I can save (and maybe keep both). I also got a few t-shirts for summer and honeymoon. Its back to work for one day, and then tomorrow is just a half day inservice.

My big excitement over this weekend is to address invitations. If I am not a little crazy already, I will be. The wedding is two months from yesterday. I need to get moving on a few things. I have my list, and its time to start crossing things off. We did have my uncle help us design the centerpieces so that is going ok. And I think once my stuff is moved from the apartment, I will have less to worry about with that headache.

I will be back later today. But right now, its time to work out details for tomorrow's inservice. (did I mention that our school is host to this day?) I have a few things to mention about blogs, but not right now.
