just a quick blog. i am heading out to run a few errands before i have to leave for the airport to pick up my mother who is coming in for my shower and a surprise party for my grandmother. i went for my final fitting for a bridesmaid dress for april 28th (yes, i was crazy enough to be in a wedding 6 weeks before i get married) and then keith and I moved a few things to the house. i spent an hour putting clothes and shit away so it is beginning to be more like "home" to me. (espcially since my apartment has boxes EVERYWHERE!!)
not too much else to report here in PA. the weather is already humid due to the rainstorms we had early this am. i want spring, i do not want to jump right into summer. but it is supposed to be sunny and 75 tomorrow so that sounds OK. gotta run. may not make it back until monday so, have a good one people.

I have not blogged for so long from home, that I might not remember how to do the linky things. (nice tech term, right Heather?) But I did finish my catch up and wanted to comment to a few of "you" who might be reading.
Misty I am sorry to hear that "job fear" has entered where you work. But how nice to have Ralph's surprise to look forward to. (And I am still going to email. Its been a long, tiring week.)
Happy to see Carol, Steph, Jen C back to blogging. And also to hear fromTina . I hope your company is having a good time with you!!
Janette, thanks for the nice comment about my graphics. My blogger fairy has helped me find some cute ones. And speaking of which, I really like yours. They are sooooo summery that I am wishing for warm weather now!! And, just to comment about your fanfic thoughts. I understand because I started with a wedding and then decided to build a universe. Its tough to make the characters get to that point. So, I like to add new stories to my world that may or may not be part of it all. But keep writing---I'm reading!!
Not too much else new for now. I am PMSing and feeling a little down about the weekend for some reason. Actually, I actually have the cramps and the tears. Hope I can keep them under control at the shower. But sometimes you need a good cry to make you feel better, and for some reason, I feel that way tonight. Very reflective and emotional. So, before I get into a teary blog, I will say good night.

I did not get home until late yesterday so I didn't have time to blog or catch up. I am attempting to spend time in bloggy world, but my Thursdays are usually chopped up days here at work.
First, I got a shower gift in the mail last night. For those who are not aware (and how could you not, since I mentioned it a few times) my bridal shower is Sunday. My sister in laws sent a joint gift---I didn't know it was theirs until one of them mentioned a package coming. It will be a fun and relaxing day. I just need to let others "take charge". My friends refused any help I offered because they saw me as "Monica" in Friends---always trying to take over. So, I was left out of it all. (the sad part is---the are probably right but I won't admit that to them)
Now for a little commenting: Deb, I am hearing an SOS for chocolate. Wish I could get it to you fast, and I would send some. But hold on....good times are ahead!!
Karen---Congrats with a loud scream. That is wonderful about the new school job!!
Danielle---I too have friends I don't talk to for months and months and just pick up again. For me it seems natural, but for some people, it must be awkward.
Heather---there is always that wonder of who is reading my blog....could a family member find it. Well, its my place to bitch so if they do....they need to remember that.
Tonight I have a board meeting for Junior Women's Club, but Keith and I are grilling steaks and I am planning on doing a bit of packing before the meeting. It is only about 55 here but the sun is out so it makes spring seem real. Keith needs a break from working on the house too. He stained and varnished the wood shelves he built, he cleaned the bathroom REALLY GOOD, and he attached a corner table to the wall for me. I think all we will be doing this weekend is a bit of moving---winter coats, food, cooking things, and breakable items. My Dad has agreed to help on the16th because both Keith and I are off, so we can get alot done in a few hours and I will be ready for the "real" movers on the 23rd.
Ok, I will be back (I promise.) I want to do some more catch up.

OK, so I thought I would be back. But I got caught up in the excitement of packing up my house. And I did a few boxes, watched a little TV, got a package ready to mail, and then talked to my Dad. Who very nicely offered to help me move some of my stuff before the movers (meaning breakable, non-packed shit) I really appreciate his offer because I was beginning to get a bit panicky.
I have managed to get a few things accomplished today, and hope to be more productive as the days fly by. I started making a list of "things to do" and I think that will help. I am just feeling overwhelmed in ALL aspects of my life which does not usually happen. I am behind in packing, I have a wedding to finish, and I have a major amount of paperwork to complete for the DUI job. So I feel the stress of those who are having a rough week.
And I send out hugs to the all of you. Just remember I care.

I still don't have as much time as I would like to blog, but I will fit in some things I have accomplished over the weekend. My biggest find and decision was to purchase shoesfor the wedding. I got white sandals.... which just need a bit of non-skid stuff on the inside so my nylon clad foot does not slide all over the place. (and who is really going to see my shoes with the long dress on?)
Did a fair amount of shopping. I got the start on the bridesmaids gifts--- which will end up being a collaboration of things instead of one thing. I got some candles at yankee candle (and they were half price seconds!!) I got a baby shower gift for my cousin's wife, and I bought a gift for my grandmother. It took me all night last night to unpack and put stuff away. Then Keith and I went out to dinner, and I took more clothes over to the house.
Moving day is in 20 days and I am not near ready. I need to send my invitations after Easter, and have not done them yet. I need to finish picking music. I need to email my brothers about tuxes and make sure the other ushers know the information on price and where to go to get fitted. I need to decide on a menu. And I need to relax and enjoy my shower this weekend.
Stress is claiming me in a big way for so many reasons. Working two jobs, wanting to resolve issues with people both online and offline, packing my life to move, living with my Dad for over a month, paying bills, being in a wedding in April, and just wondering if I will get it all done.
Then I take a deep breath and sigh. It will get done. It just may take all of my energy and focus for a few months. But I promise I will warn you of a rant so you can skip over that part if it gets too ugly.
More later, I hope
