i need to go soon but had to mention a few things...
one, if you miss me around this weekend, it is because keith and i are planning wedding shopping/registering and house cleaning out (still) but he goes to work on sunday at 2 so i will be back to catch up.
i am up for a chat on monday night...name a time...we need to get in and be heard!!

and sex question....***her ears go up*** i will answer i am sure so go ahead and ask.

OK, confession time. i enjoy watching "charmed" and know the characters and have seen most of the old shows although i am behind for this season. and i will be taping it tonight!!

why won't i be home you ask? tonight is the birthday banquet for Junior Woman's Club, a community service organization i belong to. while many people think of juniors as being an elitist group, we are far from that these days. we are a small one compared to others (only 30 or so members) and we have relaxed rules due to lowering numbers. i enjoy the social action and the community service we do whether
it is giving money to local charities or doing vision screening on pre-school kids or holding a spaghetti dinner that donates proceeds to the food bank. (i chaired this dinner for 2 years with only small sub-committees, and now we have about 6 or 7 chairpeople for differnt things---how crazy was i?)
anyway, we have board meetings once a month and then a regular meeting the thursday following. although i knew i would be crazy with this wedding, i still signed up for board positions. most of them are not too time-consuming so i stuck with those for this year.

today is the last day of school for the week (and the semester). tomorrow is a clerical day which means i have about 25 report cards to do, and then i am free until monday morning. keith and i are going out to do some wedding stuff and house decorating things. (plus we need grocery really bad!!!)
we have registered at kaufmann's (may company for those not from pittsburgh) and bed bath and beyond.and now i want to drag him one more place.

ok, time for work right now. more later.

am i feeling better? physically, i am always energized at night which is why it sucks i have to get up at 6:30. mentally, i have been better---still blaming a bad hair day but hell it could be PMS. how would i know since i seem to be having the irregular cycle again. aaaacccckkkkk~!!!
caught up on blogs...happy to see cathy p blogging and must laugh because i seem to recall reading a post that said "i won't be blogging". sounds like all my t-friends are balanced (well, except for the few who never are!!*G* do you know who you are?) and strolling through life today. so i wish you all well, and i will have more to say later.

i have added a few blogs i like to read (OK, well deb helped to add them....) some are ones you may have seen around....i have been exploring, and i must admit...
blogging and blog-reading can be addictive. am i an addict? gosh, i hope not. one more thing to add to my list of vices.
rambling is done for today. group went very well tonight. i ate some dinner. and now my bed is calling my name. maybe tomorrow will be more of an upbeat day.

its cold, rainy, and gray. i don't feel 100% yet, so i am dragging through the day here, and i still have to go to work tonight. (lucky group---it will be a short one if i still feel like this)
i am hungry, but when i eat, i feel sick still. i am having a horrible hair day, and my tights keep falling down and annoying me.
i just want to whine and bitch a bit....sorry for the interruption of your day.
hope to be in a better blogging mood tonight when i get home.

a few more thoughts before i go...
would you like to sing at my wedding? i guess its a bit far to travel to sing, but it is cool to know people who can and do share their talents.
glad to see you back, and blogging regardless of who tortured you and why...missed you since december!! and i did love the penis poem.
TGIF and long weekend here too!!, and we only have a 3 day week since friday is a clerical/work at home day. good luck with your meeting and choices for next year.
hope the interview went well, and good luck on a call back (late, i know)

now, it is time to leave. will be working a bit for the DUI (2nd job) tomorrow, but hope to have time to catch up and post more. take care all

*sigh* it has been a few days hasn't it? well, although i was at "the house" for friday and saturday, it would not have mattered if i had a computer. friday night i got "the flu" and was up all night in the bathroom making those horrid sounds. spent all day saturday on the couch drinking ginger ale, eating toast, and sleeping. nice to have keith to take care of me.

but, he is watching football, so i snuck over to put away laundry, read blogs, and maybe catch up on a few more fanfic tales.
happy to see the "did you know" is continuing off and on....i had a couple more that i cannot seem to find in this foggy, food-deprived brain, but i will try.
did you know...
i met keith on a blind date that i didn't want to go to? and we got engaged only 4 months after our first date. the wedding might have been sooner but since i work in a catholic school, and he was married before, there were a few things we needed to take care of. (by the way, this DYK was added since you asked about how we met, etc.
did you know i am in awe of anyone who can play musical instruments because although i took piano lessons for 6 years, i still am amazed at watching others.
...i love theater, especially musicals, and have season tix here in pittsburgh?
...keith is 16 years older than i am?
...that i do calligraphy and plan on addressing my invitations myself?
...that i applied to notre dame on a dare from me best friend and went there without having visited?
...that i consider myself shy, but once i know you i can be too sarcastic? and that my friends all through high school, college, and even now, call me peacemaker because i hate to see conflict?

i learned so many things from others that i can't even begin to mention them all right now. but it was so neat to hear about dreams, families, first jobs, hobbies, quirky habits, cars, and experiences that i am happy you all joined in this game. i learned more about many of you, and hope you will keep adding them as they occur, or maybe we should just play the game once a month---start jotting them down.

not much else to report here. nothing much happens when you spend saturday on the couch watching your fiance hang a ceiling fan, install a light dimmer, and put up a new mailbox. the only comment i will make is this:
when you go to purchase something that needs to be a certain size, and you drive 20 miles to do this, wouldn't you think you would measure first? although we did get some of what we needed at lowe's on friday, we could not get the closet door because keith thought it was 36 inches, and i thought 30. (need i say that when we got home and measured it was 30?)

what i am reading? just finished debbie macomber's montana and am going to re-read mists of avalon by marion zimmer bradley since my friend got me another book by her for christmas. if not that, then i think gap creek which was an oprah book a while ago.

hope you make it through the physical therapy i never had to go through it, but i have seen kids and old roommates do it. tell them to take it easy, you only have to chase a toddler, not play baseball....*G*

more in a bit...need to put away laundry.
