Saturday, December 02, 2000Although I did not have a story to add to my weblog as Deb did, I decided not to blog on Friday as a tribute to the Day with out Blogs day. I have an old friend who died of AIDS but I'm not quite ready to talk about his story today. But thanks for sharing, Deb. It makes us all realize how precious life is.Yesterday was hectic for a Friday. I had a leadership workshop after school until 2 pm, then had to pick up a fundraising candy order for Junior Woman's Club (more on this later). Keith and I went shopping for a sports jacket for him which we got, along with winter jackets for both of us, and a few odds and ends he needed. Headed to Sam's Club for some appetizers for our party on Dec 23. Not a big deal--just his crew from work and a few friends of mine. Basically, it will be our bridal party minus my brothers and sister-in-laws. Dinner out at a really great restaurant Buffalo's Cafe. We have an Entertainment book so it was also a good deal. Keith worked midnight, then left for early morning hunting, and is back home and in bed sleeping for his last midnight shift. Tomorrow we are having dinner at friends (THIS MEANS NO COOKING FOR ME!!!) I need to go now, but will most likely be back later tonight. Once this becomes public, I want to do a bit of an introduction and explanation since the shamrocks and the music themes are meaningful for me.
Thursday, November 30, 2000Thursday, November 30, 2000I can't believe it is the last day of the month. Where did the time go? At this rate, I will be married before I finish my wedding planning.....EEEEE!!! OK, a moment of panic that is gone. Nothing much tonight. I am tired and ready for bed but wanted to make a few notes about the day. Spent most of it trying to get caught up on college applications for the kids, and then went to "our house" that I don't live in yet, for the evening. Keith made dinner so it was nice to relax. Although I have officially started blogging, I have not made myself public yet. I think soon. And then will explain a bit about the title, the design, and my life. Hope I won't put anyone to sleep. It's Thursday, and tomorrow is a short day, and then shopping for Keith. His work dinner/dance is the 9th and he HAS NO JACKET to wear. I have been telling him all year he needs one, but of course we wait until the week before. Are all men like this? Good night. posted by chris on 10:33 PM | go ahead - link me!

WEDNESDAY NOV. 29 Really think I am going to like this blogging idea. I need an outlet. And sometimes I need a chance to let my friends catch up on my life. Thanks to Deb for helping me and for Tina, Shana, Karen and Misty for being "first" so I could enjoy their blogs.
